Maui Jim Replacement Lenses
502 frame models · Crafted in Italy · 60-day perfect-fit guarantee
Born in Lahaina, Hawaii in 1980, Maui Jim built its reputation on PolarizedPlus2 technology — multi-layer lens construction designed to handle the intense glare and color saturation of tropical environments. The brand specializes in patterns optimized for water, sun, and sky: deep-sea fishing, sailing, beach activities, and outdoor pursuits in bright conditions.Maui Jim sells its replacement lenses at premium prices through authorized service centers, often with long turnaround times. Our compatible lenses for Maui Jim Peahi, Banyans, Stingray, Cliff House, and other models offer comparable polarization performance and color enhancement at a fraction of the cost, with multiple tint options including HCL Bronze, Neutral Grey, and rose-mirror finishes.

Which color, for what light?
Every Maui Jim frame is available in our full range of polycarbonate replacement lenses. Find the right tint for how you actually use them.
Filter categories follow EN ISO 12312-1, based on visible light transmission. Most tints are Category 3. Clear and Blast Yellow are Category 0, for indoor and low-light use. Photochromic shifts with UV exposure, from Category 1 in its clear state to Category 2 when fully dark. We sell no Category 4 lens; note that Category 3 tints are not suitable for driving at night. Shatter-resistant polycarbonate, anti-reflective and oleophobic coatings included. Full technical specs on each product page.
Why The Lens King for your Maui Jim
Maui Jim built its reputation on PolarizedPlus2 — a multi-layer color-enhancing polarized lens system specifically tuned for tropical water and reef conditions. Replacement lens market for Maui Jim is small, fragmented, and historically OEM-priced ($150+).
Our Maui Jim-compatible lenses replicate the optical performance: polarized layer first, then color-enhancing color shift toward warm tones (rose/copper), anti-reflective on both faces, oleophobic outer. Tested side-by-side with OEM cartridges for VLT (10–12%), polarization efficiency (>99%), and chromatic balance.
For Peahi, Stingray, Cliff House, Banyan, and 25+ other Maui Jim models. Available in our HCL Bronze equivalent and Neutral Gray equivalent — the two most-requested Maui Jim tints.

Your Maui Jim isn't in our catalog?
We custom-cut replacement lenses from your original frame. Send it to our workshop in Formia (Italy), we measure with our MEI optical equipment, and ship back the lenses crafted to ±0.1mm tolerance — same precision as factory.
Not sure where to start?
Is your lens equivalent to PolarizedPlus2?
Functionally yes, technically no — PolarizedPlus2 is Maui Jim's proprietary multi-layer treatment and we don't imitate the brand. What we make is polarized polycarbonate with color-enhancing tint shift toward warm spectrum, the optical effect Maui Jim users describe (water clarity, reef visibility, reduced eye fatigue). VLT and polarization efficiency tested equivalent.
How do I pick the right lens color for my use?
Match the lens to the activity, not the look. Bright sun, beach, snow: dark tints VLT 10–14% (Gray Green, Volcanic Black, mirrored lenses). Variable conditions, driving: brown or photochromic. Overcast, low light, dawn/dusk: yellow or clear VLT 60%+. All-day everyday: Gray Green polarized is the safest bet — neutral colors, glare cut, works in 90% of situations.
Polarized vs Non-Polarized — which one for me?
Get polarized if you drive a lot, spend time near water (beach, fishing, boating), or struggle with road glare. Polarized lenses cut reflected glare from horizontal surfaces. Skip polarized if you fly small aircraft (cockpit screens go black), ski (icy patches become invisible), or use digital screens outdoors (LCD displays become unreadable). For walking around, casual wear, sport: either works.
How do I find my Maui Jim model code?
The model code is printed inside the temple arm — usually the left arm, near the hinge or further down towards the ear. Hold the frame open, look at the inner surface of the arm against a light source. You'll see a code like OO9102-01 or RB3025 002/58. The letters/numbers before the dash are the model; what comes after is color and size variants. We match the model code — the variants don't affect lens fit.
Will TLK lenses fit my original Maui Jim frame?
Yes, with our 60-day perfect-fit guarantee. Each lens is precision-cut on MEI optical machinery to match the original frame shape, base curve, lens material thickness, and edge profile. We test fit before shipping. If your specific unit was made in an unusual year or modified, send us a photo — we'll confirm compatibility before you order. No-fit happens in less than 1% of orders, and we refund or remake those at no cost.
